Exploring History and Culture of Northern B.C. at The Exploration Place

Early this year, we visited "The Exploration Place", the largest museum here in Northern BC. The museum is located within the Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park. The winter season kept us confined in our house for months and when the winter went away, we were finally able to explore some of the tourist spots here in Prince George.

Inside the science museum, you can see various collections, artifacts, exhibits, and bones that depict the rich history of the Northern B.C.

According to the staff there, the animals on display are all real. They were all disected (I am not sure about this term or process) and preserved to be displayed here in the Museum.

The museum is open daily from Monday to Sunday. We paid $50 for a family of four. For the most up-to-date entrance fees, please visit their website.

Inside, you'll find a souvenir shop and a restaurant for your convenience."
